We all need a little help on our fitness journey, and that includes help in the form of equipment, motivation, and food! In My Home Gym (aka My Living Room)

Kakolee Cork Yoga Mat (with block and bag) – This eco-friendly mat is just as comfy and grippy as a typical mat. It’s my new go-to practice mat! Love this.

Gaiam Premium Yoga Mats – At 5mm, these are a little thicker than your average mat.

Hugger Mugger Yoga Mat  – These are 74 inches long; an average mat is 68 inches.

Hugger Mugger Cork Yoga Block – Great for adapting your poses using a sustainable product.

YogaAccessories (TM) Cotton Yoga Strap – Another useful tool to make yoga poses more accessible.

SPRI Deluxe Vinyl Kettlebells – I LOVE kettlebell workouts!

SPRI Medium Resistance Band – There are so many exercises you can do with these, and they travel well.

Fitness Answered Resistance Bands Set – 7 bands of varying resistance plus accessories…a complete set!

SPRI Exercise Ball – Another versatile and inexpensive tool: plus, I sit on mine when I’m at my desk!

Pilates Ring – A lightweight, simple tool for adding more resistance to pilates workouts; it can also be used for certain exercises to supplement your strength training routine.

 

In My Kitchen

 

Sunfood Superfoods – They have a wide variety of wonderful products.

Vemma – I’ve used these daily liquid nutritional supplements since 2009.

Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil – Cooking, baking, skin, hair: this is my go-to oil.

Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Raw Cacao Powder – Rich in antioxidants; great in hot chocolate!

Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Hemp Seeds – I add these to my smoothies.

Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Chia Seeds – Another great smoothie addition.

Bob’s Red Mill Organic Raw Whole Brown Flaxseed – Smoothie seed #3. I ground these up before I use them.

Simply Organic Turmeric – Great in a variety of dishes, but I actually put this in my smoothies, too.

Simply Organic Cinnamon – I eat cinnamon daily: coffee, tea, smoothies, oatmeal, whatever…I find a way.

 

In My Bathroom (It’s Not Weird)


Detox Foot Pads
 – Wear them at night, and they pull all sorts of crap out of your body.

Natural Bristle Body Brush – I started dry brushing this year and love it!

Tongue Scraper – Another healthy habit I added to my routine.

Thieves Dentarome Ultra Toothpaste – I prefer a flouride-free paste, and this one is awesome.

Organic Tea Tree Oil – I use tea tree on cuts and insect bites. It always makes into my travel bag, too.

 

In My Closet

Go Sport-It Exercise Leggings – Perfectly stretchy and they stay in place when you bend and move!

Crocs Women’s Patricia II Wedge Sandal – The first Crocs I ever owned. Comfortable for walking and look nice!

Crocs Women’s A-Leigh Mini Wedge Sandal – A slightly dressier sandal, every bit as comfy as the Patricia.

AVIA Women’s Crosstraining Shoe – AVIA just works for my feet. I love these shoes and buy them every time.

ASICS Women’s Running Shoe – It’s a low-mileage shoe, technically, but I went high-mileage and trained for and ran my marathon in them–and I loved them.

YOGiiZA Women’s Organic Racerback Tank – Comfy AND organic!

Yogasana: The Encyclopedia of Yoga Poses – A beautiful yoga resource written by my teacher.

Living Your Yoga: Finding the Spiritual in Everyday Life – Bringing yoga into your daily life.

The Wisdom of Yoga: A Seeker’s Guide to Extraordinary Living – Reads almost like a novel. Love this book.

How to Know God: The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali – Easy-to-understand look at the eight limbs of yoga.

Autobiography of a Yogi  – A great story of a rich life.

The Slight Edge: Turning Simple Disciplines into Massive Success and Happiness – Exactly.

Breaking Out of Beginner’s Spanish – Funny and enormously helpful.

Warrior of the Light – Little bits of wisdom from Paulo Coelho.

Way of the Peaceful Warrior – A partly autobiographical novel with a lot of beautiful insight.
