Go Sport-It Massage Stick Review

(I received this product as a gift or at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.)

I was first introduced to Go Sport-It via this pilates ring and these push-up bars, and they’re expanding their product line! I’m happy to review their massage stick.

As you may remember, I’ve reviewed a massage roller stick before. I got this muscle roller in the spring, and I liked it. I found it handy for certain areas of the body that are kind of awkward with a foam roller.

However, now that I have this massage stick by Go Sport-It, I’ve got to say…I like it better than that muscle roller.

The main reason is that the muscle roller is made of hard plastic. This massage stick is softer (still firm, though) and textured, so it just feels so much better when you’re using it.

The handles are easy to grip and it rolls smoothly.

Though this massage stick still isn’t a 100% replacement for a foam roller, I still like it, especially for my lower legs and even my arms. You have to hold the stick with only one hand, obviously, but you can still apply enough pressure without straining so that it feels really good on your shoulder and biceps!

The only downside is that the package does say, “Workout guide inside the package” and there was no guide. So I think they’re probably working on that to go in future packages.

If I were only going to have one self-massage device, I would probably stick with the foam roller, but that’s because my biggest issue is with my hips, quads, and hamstrings, and I like the roller better for that. But since I get to have both, I’m glad to!
