Go Sport-It Core Sliders Review

(I received this product as a gift or at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.)

Several months ago, I helped Go Sport-It develop the exercises to be included on their core sliders workout guide, so I got to see those sliders first! Now I’ve gotten a hold of the finished product, sliders and workout guide included, that is for sale here.

Now, yes, that is my picture on the guide, but still, I want to offer you an unbiased review here. So while I’m totally biased in favor of that awesome workout guide, I’m starting out neutral about the sliders themselves. 🙂

The two sides are different, because they’re made for different surfaces. You use the soft side on hard floors and the hard side on carpeted floors.

They slide well, but there’s no feeling that you’re standing on ice or something. They’re not THAT slippery. 🙂 With any slider, you do have to make sure you’re keeping your movements under control, which is why I wouldn’t recommend core sliders to a beginning exerciser. They’re really a tool for variety and upping your fitness game. If you struggle with regular push-ups or are a bit wobbly on regular lunges, don’t add a slider.

To be honest, there probably isn’t a huge difference between most sliders. It’s a pretty basic piece of fitness equipment. One differentiating factor might be quality and durability: these are sturdy and I would expect them to last a long time. Another thing to look for is the ability to use the sliders on different types of floors, like you can with these. And finally, many don’t come with a workout guide. My last set didn’t. So I like that about this set. (And not only because it’s me on there. 😉 )

Core sliders are a fun, and they’re an inexpensive way to add challenge and variety to your workouts.

I made a short video demonstrating each exercise, if you’d like to see it in action.
